Firm Overview

The firm of Farmer, Price, Hornsby & Weatherford, LLP began as a father-son partnership between the late J. Hubert Farmer (1896-1976) and his son, James H. Farmer, Jr. (1930-1999). Edward M. Price, Jr. joined the firm thirty years ago, Ernest H. Hornsby became a partner twenty years ago, and the firm has grown since then to include seven attorneys and an equally large support staff. The longevity and stability of our firm and the diversity of our practice ensures that our clients can come to us and have all of their legal needs addressed. We can handle nearly every issue our clients encounter. We strive to provide professional, diligent and knowledgeable representation to our clients in Alabama, Georgia and Florida.

Our attorneys all engage in community support activities and do pro bono (volunteer) legal work. Nearly every partner at the firm is a member of a community board, charity organization or other institution in Dothan committed to helping the less fortunate. For example, Mr. Hall serves on the board for The Haven and the Wiregrass Museum of Art. Our attorneys are licensed to practice in Alabama, Florida and Georgia, and we serve clients in all three states in their commercial real estate, personal injury, products liability and employment law matters such as sexual harassment, wage claims and management assistance.
